In other grade books that I've used, I was able to create special scores such as NHI (not handed in) or A=absent or HINM (handed in not marked). The only special score that seems available is E for exempt, however, I would like to be able to have a place holder for those who have not handed in work or done a test so that their mark reflects the zero, without putting in a zero... I would like to differentiate between those who did something and actually earned zero, from those who have not completed a task, but still should get a chance to, but need the fire under the butt that is a zero grade to get around to doing it.

This is something on our roadmap and is on our feature request list. We do not have a timeframe but we do believe it is a great feature to add.
Hi, has there been an update with this kind of feature?
Like the original poster, I'd be very excited to be able to add customizable letter-based marks in addition to E, such as C for "Complete" or "Competent", and NYC for "Not Yet Competent", etc.
Thanks for all you do!
P.S. I love everything else about this Gradebook!
Thanks! It would be helpful. another thing that would be wonderful is to have more than 10 categories. I grade based on units so have categories like: cells and membranes tests, cells and membranes assignments and I exhaust 10 very quickly.
When entering marks, I get the following message in the percent column. Any thoughts?
Sometimes if it’s being weird, I find one cell that Is functioning and copy the cell into the one not working so that it works properly, but I’m by no means an expert. I just started using the program to try it out. The program I currently use is going to start to be obsolete because our school is updating all our computer systems.
It does seem like the weighting or total marks are missing. You can share the GradeBook with help.desk@gdevapps.com and we can take a look at the issue.
