Suppose I have a student with a final percentage grade of 89.7%. My gradebook is set up so that this would be a B+, and if I switch the view to letter grade it really does show up as a B+. So far so good. But let's say that I want to round all the final grades to the nearest percent. I go into Settings and change the number of decimal places for rounding to 0 instead of 1. If I now switch the view to letter grade instead of percent, this student does indeed show up as 90%. However, the letter grade is still a B+ instead of an A-.
Is there any way to have the gradebook change the final letter grade in response to the rounding operation?
This has now been fixed for all newly created GradeBooks.
Hi Julie,
Yes you are correct, thank you for catching that error. I have submitted this issue and will have an update shortly.
