    Hi Kirsten,

They should not be overwritten, do they have different names than assignments on Classroom?

Hello, thank you for your reply. Yes, the names of the assignments are very different than on Classroom. It has happened in two different Gradebooks for two different classes of mine. Does it have to start with the word Assignment? Many thanks.

I made a video for you showing how to add assignments and not have them overwritten:

AS you can see from video the assignment moves to a different column, is this what is happening in your GradeBook?

Is this how you are adding assignments? Just use an empty assignment column and enter the assignment details. You can also try creating a new GradeBook and importing from Classroom again, everything should import.
